Requirements / organisational issues

This project week course does not have any prerequisites in subtitling or easy language. The seminar will be held together with the exercise course by Dr. Silke Gutermuth. In the seminar the focus will be more on theoretical aspects and term paper will be written for the individual projects. In the exercise course the focus will be more hands-on although participants of both courses will have hands-on sessions on subtitling.

Anwesenheitspflicht

For this project week course it is essential that you participate in person on all five days. The contents of each day build up on each other and you would miss too much hands-on time to successfully complete this seminar.
In case of conflicts with urgent appointments that cannot be moved, please get in touch at least a day in advance so we can find a solution that does not lead to you falling behind.
Missing of two consecutive days or participation of less than 50% in presence leads to course participants being set as inactive.

Digital teaching

No but students will need to bring their laptops (students may also use the computers at the CAFL)
