Call for Abstracts and Participation
International Easy Language Day Conference (IELD) 2021, 27-28 May 2021

As a component of accessible communication and related to many other fields, we pursue research topics related to a broader understanding of Easy Language. Therefore, topics may include, but are not limited to:
- Linguistic features
- Communication barriers (accessibility)
- Multimodal + multilingual contexts
- Comprehensibility
- Addressee orientation (literacy, target groups)
- Reception (methods)
- Translation/Intralingual transposition
- Participation
- Stigmatisation (politics/social implications)
- Education, training and professionalisation
- Technologies
We invite abstract submissions of 300 words length plus references. Abstracts should be written in English and should be submitted as a PDF file through: Abstract submission
