The project “Barrierefreie Kommunikation” in combination with blended learning consists of five different courses with the common aim of producing the English translation of the Handbook on accessible communication by Christiane Maaß and Isabel Rink. The English translation will be published and all associates will be mentioned in the publication.In this seminar, we will approach the topic from a linguistic point of view. We will work through the handbook’s sub-topics and support the translation groups from the Übersetzungsübungen with technical expertise and additional information. We will also work with Leichte Sprache guidelines and their application in authentic texts.
