In this seminar we will have a look at what is happening inside the head of translators prior to the productionof a translation. We will examine (bilingual) speech processing and various aspects of language acquisition
and speech production. Additionnally, we will explore research methods from psycholinguistics, bilingualism studies and psychology and how they can be operationalized for translation studies.
All participants will take part in a study during this course.
